This is not a complete list, and representation is available for any

There are many problems that come when a family member is killed or
seriously injured. These can include inability to find medical
treatment due to lack of insurance, harassment by bill collectors for
medical expenses, damage to your credit rating, not to mention stress

adjusters who will start calling. Some people are even bothered by

Some people have heard that "you can't sue if you didn't have
insurance," and they are not sure any wrongful death attorney or
personal injury attorney could help them, even though they were
totally without blame. This is not true. The law in California now
provides that if you were hurt in an auto accident and didn't have
liability insurance yourself, you are limited in your recovery to
"actual damages," but nothing for "pain and suffering." Even though a
person has no insurance, if the injury left him or her totally or
partially disabled from earning a living, then the "actual damages"
can be in the millions. Certainly worth pursuing.
